Leads the project controls organization for major capital projects, governing estimating, cost management, scheduling, risk, change control, forecasting, earned value, and reporting. Advises executive stakeholders on performance, risks, recovery actions, and corrective measures. Oversees contractor controls, integrates engineering through startup and regulatory milestones, leads quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, and builds high-performing multidisciplinary teams in regulated industrial environments.

Supports government acquisition programs for space and ground systems, including acquisition strategy, program planning, cost estimation, contract documentation, technical evaluations, and contractor performance monitoring. Develops and verifies calibration tools and algorithms, monitors geometric data quality, analyzes instrument performance, supports anomaly resolution, responds to user inquiries, and reports findings to program management. Publishes technical papers, presents results at conferences, participates in peer reviews, and provides expertise across Landsat data products and ground systems.

Supports Landsat geometric calibration and validation by monitoring and characterizing instrument geometry, developing calibration tools and algorithms, analyzing data quality, resolving anomalies, answering data-use questions, and reporting results. The role also involves publishing technical papers, presenting findings, participating in peer reviews, and supporting Landsat program meetings. Work requires engineering expertise in satellite systems, geodesy, photogrammetry, signal processing, and remote sensing.

Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation. Prepare drawings and specifications, perform load calculations and system studies, troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis, ensure code and safety compliance, support commissioning and maintenance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery.

Lead subcontract and procurement activities for large government-focused programs: qualify suppliers, issue and evaluate RFPs, negotiate MSAs and subcontracts, integrate subcontract work with engineering/quality/finance, control costs, manage supplier performance, develop sourcing strategies and metrics, mentor the purchasing/subcontracts team, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and program requirements.

Manage cost, schedule, performance, acquisition planning, financial management, requirements, system specifications, testing, nuclear certification, and lifecycle planning for Air Force nuclear weapons programs. Support branch leadership, contracts, strategic plans, resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and tradespace analysis while working onsite in a secure environment.

Executes integrated product support and logistics activities for military SATCOM systems across acquisition, transition, fielding, and sustainment. Develops life-cycle sustainment plans, logistics assessments, depot activation plans, provisioning and sparing analyses, and technical logistics documentation. Leads product support forums, manages action items, supports transition to operations and readiness assessments, and coordinates with government, contractors, and field organizations. Provides briefings and maintains collaborative relationships across program stakeholders.

Supports a Government Program Office at Peterson Space Force Base by coordinating projects, taskings, deliverables, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications. The role prepares executive briefings, dashboards, reports, decision documents, and performance metrics; facilitates working groups and strategic planning; maintains action trackers and program documentation; coordinates information requests and official staffing packages; and supports travel and senior leadership engagements. Requires extensive program management experience, executive-level communication skills, and active TS/SCI clearance.
