Leads digital requirements and performance management across Caterpillar’s Oil & Gas and Marine teams. Oversees complex digital programs, defines business and hardware requirements, manages quality, cost, velocity, and performance metrics, coordinates cross-functional teams, governs enterprise alignment, and ensures programs meet deadlines and standards. Serves as the primary business voice to Cat Digital and supports dealer-delivered digital solutions.

Builds high-fidelity 3D scenes, sensor simulations, and Omniverse-based pipelines using C++ and Python. Integrates simulation models with data systems, optimizes large-scale workflows, develops validation frameworks, and connects simulations to real-time visualization and operator experiences. The role also evaluates emerging tools, reduces the real-to-sim gap using machine data, and leads technical planning and mentoring.

Defines enterprise architecture and operating standards for AI-ready data products supporting Physical AI, simulation, and machine learning. Establishes data domains, contracts, metadata, quality, lineage, security, lifecycle management, and reusable data objects. Integrates labeling, annotation, curation, evaluation, and feedback processes while aligning business, data engineering, and AI teams. Provides strategic architectural leadership across engineering organizations and develops scalable cloud, on-premise, telemetry, streaming, and edge-to-cloud data platform strategies.

Develops and executes software verification and validation for heavy-equipment technology products. Responsibilities include designing and implementing software applications, gathering requirements, automating workflows, writing and enhancing code, and using automated testing tools to maintain product quality. The role collaborates with international product and project teams, works onsite in Illinois five days per week, and requires up to 10% domestic travel.

Leads Scrum ceremonies, manages and prioritizes the product backlog, communicates product vision, coordinates sprint objectives, and supports software engineering teams in an agile environment. The role collaborates with engineers and stakeholders to decompose requirements, manage defects and changes, negotiate releases, and represent customer needs. It may also serve as Product Owner for complex projects, making decisions about product features, release timing, and content.

Defines data architecture for physical AI and autonomous systems, including data contracts, schemas, metadata, governance, lineage, and traceability. Designs multimodal architectures for sensor, video, image, telemetry, event, simulation, and robotics data. Establishes scalable data patterns for robotics training, synthetic data, world models, and AI development. Leads architectural roadmaps and standards while partnering with simulation, robotics, data engineering, and platform teams.

Design, administer, and optimize enterprise data platforms (including Snowflake) to support analytics and business operations. Lead data architecture, integrations (SAP, PRISM, cloud), governance, security, and platform reliability. Partner with business and IT teams, manage cloud services (Azure, Kubernetes, Key Vault), DevOps workflows, and Linux/Windows environments while driving continuous improvement and onboarding analytics tools.

Develop Python data pipelines and business data objects for applications. Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines, implement source-to-target mappings, resolve complex technical issues, interpret design requirements, and perform unit and integration testing. The role also promotes software quality practices, continuous improvement, and collaboration across functional teams. It requires onsite work five days per week in Chicago or Peoria, Illinois.
