The MBSE Core Capabilities Engineer supports Model-Based Systems Engineering by advancing tools and infrastructure, collaborating with teams, and improving adoption of MBSE methods.

Lead development and maintenance of Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Integrate schedules across functions, prepare IMS updates and contract deliverables, monitor progress, analyze critical paths and risks, recommend recovery plans, and communicate schedule status to program stakeholders. Ensure compliance with customer, company, and industry scheduling and EVMS requirements.

Lead program-level quality planning and execution to ensure customer, regulatory, and internal requirements are met. Support lifecycle and phase-gate reviews, manage nonconformances and RCCA, act as customer quality liaison (PPAP, source inspections), drive supplier quality activities, perform audits (ISO9001/AS9100/IATF/CMMI), monitor quality metrics, and partner cross-functionally to mitigate risks and improve program performance.

Lead a 25-30 person software engineering team for combat vehicle software development and integration. Oversee requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, EVMS-based financials, subcontract management, compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards, milestone reviews with government customers, and team development to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.

Manage program execution for advanced electronic warfare solutions: plan schedules, budgets, and resources; mitigate risks; track program performance (financial, schedule, technical); engage customers and suppliers; lead cross-functional teams; ensure compliance with company policies and drive continuous improvement.

Lead multimedia IT projects for a defense sponsor: manage hardware/software agreements, A&A/ATO documentation, schedules, risks, metrics, workforce performance, incident response, and stakeholder reporting. Apply project management methodologies and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet contractual and operational objectives.

Develop, integrate, and test software for complex defense electronic systems. Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineers to implement software solutions, improve testability, and support product lifecycle from requirements through integration and release.

Lead design, test, integration, and transition-to-production of complex digital circuit cards and modules. Perform digital circuit design, simulation, board design, MIL-STD testing, lab troubleshooting, and mentor junior engineers. Interface cross-functionally and with customers, generate test procedures and documentation, drive root-cause corrective actions, and improve product and test methodologies.

Lead development and integration of launch segment concepts and requirements, coordinate with launch providers and internal teams, manage interface definition, safety, materials, and launch campaign execution, and provide technical writing and proposal support for launch systems.

Support development, deployment, and sustainment of PLM engineering solutions: configuration management, process development, requirements traceability, testing, data migration into Windchill, training, and collaboration with SMEs and IPTs to implement model-based PLM capabilities for a U.S. Navy weapon system.
