Represents insurers and other clients in insurance coverage and related litigation matters. Reviews policies and claim files, evaluates coverage issues and exposure, conducts legal research, and prepares memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents. Participates in discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement discussions, and trial preparation while communicating with clients, counsel, experts, and attorneys across practice areas.

Defends clients in complex mass tort and products liability litigation. Responsibilities include first-chair depositions, e-discovery and discovery management, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and legal memoranda, trial and ADR preparation, and courtroom appearances. The associate will manage day-to-day case responsibilities under partner supervision while collaborating with attorneys and local counsel nationwide.

Coordinates new-hire onboarding, paperwork, orientations, training, checklists, and retention meetings. Supports recruiting through job postings, resume reviews, phone screens, interview scheduling, reference and background checks, and applicant tracking system maintenance. Assists with I-9 compliance, audits, salary benchmarking, recruiting strategy research, job description updates, and HR projects while building relationships with candidates, managers, employees, and recruiting agencies.
