Supports process control system integration projects from design through implementation. Under supervision, performs project tasks and programs, configures, tests, and commissions PLC- and HMI-based control systems. Maintains quality standards, follows safety and client policies, and contributes to continuous improvement by exploring emerging automation and AI-enabled technologies.

Assists with designing, programming, configuring, modifying, testing, and commissioning industrial automation systems using PLCs and HMIs. Electrical Design Associate Interns assist electrical design teams with control panel wiring schematics, panel layouts, bills of materials, and control system documentation. They complete supervised project tasks while following scope, schedule, budget, safety, and company standards. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed an associate or bachelor’s engineering-related program. Electrical design training and familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN Electric P8 are preferred.

Manages multiple complex electrical projects from planning through completion, controlling scope, schedules, budgets, estimates, proposals, change orders, and project performance. Leads multidisciplinary teams, coordinates staffing, maintains client relationships, conducts meetings, reviews quality, mentors less-experienced staff, and supports business retention strategies. The role requires project leadership, accounting coordination, client communication, safety compliance, and up to 25% overnight travel, with occasional longer assignments.
