Evaluate security controls, identify vulnerabilities and gaps, develop risk documentation and mitigation recommendations, and support authorization, compliance, governance, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management activities. Coordinate with technical teams, system owners, and leadership while tracking findings, remediation, risk acceptance, and contractual requirements.

Support enterprise data governance, classification, tagging, labeling, lifecycle management, and data protection initiatives in a secure Department of War environment. The role develops governance and data management frameworks, defines ownership and stewardship policies, coordinates tagging across SAP environments, implements security and privacy controls, and creates data masking deployment plans. It requires extensive experience with sensitive enterprise data, governance standards, security controls, and cross-functional coordination. The position is 100% onsite in Rosslyn, Virginia.

Conduct security control assessments for Department of Defense information systems, validate control implementation and inherited controls, review security documentation, and prepare Authorization to Operate packages. Evaluate compliance with NIST, DoD, CNSSI, and JSIG requirements; document risks and deficiencies; recommend remediation; support POA&Ms and continuous monitoring; and coordinate with system owners, security personnel, engineers, and government stakeholders. Provide leadership and technical guidance to assessment teams.

Develop and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications supporting DHS and CBP traveler screening systems. Responsibilities include building React and Angular front ends, Java and Spring microservices, REST APIs, cloud-native applications, AI/ML solutions, authentication, automated testing, containerization, CI/CD, and performance optimization. Engineer and optimize Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama deployments, load balancer security, VPNs, IPS, routing, and high-availability configurations. Identify and remediate security gaps, misconfigurations, rule conflicts, and performance issues; provide Tier 3 support; conduct firewall assessments and reporting; support continuity operations; and ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, DISA requirements, and JSIG policies in classified environments.
