Lead electrical engineering and design for water and wastewater facility projects, including power distribution, generators, motor controls, VFDs, lighting, specifications, and system studies. Manage concurrent projects, construction administration, testing, commissioning, client coordination, QA/QC, staff supervision, mentoring, and business development. Perform designs using AutoCAD or Revit and power studies using SKM or ETAP.

Develops process mechanical Revit models, families, piping layouts, and contract drawings for water, wastewater, and pump station projects. Coordinates designs across civil, structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines; performs clash detection and resolution; incorporates redlines; verifies CAD/BIM standards compliance; coordinates submittals; and mentors early-career designers.

Engineering interns support water, wastewater, stormwater, and conveyance projects from planning and conceptual design through construction. Responsibilities include fieldwork, site visits, engineering deliverables, sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, design reports, data management, equipment selection, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and clients. Interns receive mentorship and may work across civil, mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, CAD/BIM, and controls disciplines.

Leads Hazen and Sawyer’s Georgia Dam and Levee Safety practice, including business development, client service, project engineering and management, dam and levee inspections, design calculations, permitting, construction administration, and construction-phase services. Supervises and mentors engineers, prepares reports and construction documents, supports multidisciplinary teams, and manages projects across Georgia and the United States.

Designs medium- and low-voltage power systems, generators, motor controls, VFDs, lighting, and electrical layouts for water and wastewater facilities. Prepares specifications, performs power system studies, supports construction administration, factory testing, field testing, and system startup. Leads multiple projects, coordinates with clients and contractors, mentors staff, develops scopes and fees, supports proposals, and may serve as project manager.
