Develops and maintains manufacturing processes and instructions for PCBA and electromechanical assemblies. Troubleshoots defects, improves yields and production efficiency, supports tooling and quoting, and collaborates with customers on DFM/DFA and product releases. The role also drives cost savings, continuous improvement, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives in a cellular production environment.

Leads manufacturing readiness, manufacturability reviews, process documentation, tooling and equipment selection, continuous improvement, and corrective actions in a PCBA contract manufacturing environment. Provides technical support to manufacturing, test engineering, and production teams while improving quality, efficiency, and throughput. Requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, IPC standards knowledge, CAD and MES proficiency, and eligibility as a U.S. Person under ITAR.

Design complex printed circuit board layouts meeting mechanical, electrical, RF, mixed-signal, and manufacturing requirements. Plan project resources, communicate progress with customers, resolve technical issues, track project activities, and support on-time delivery. Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary design teams, apply IPC standards, use PCB layout tools, and advocate for customers while maintaining high quality and workmanship.

Supports process improvement and manufacturing method development in a PCBA production environment. Collects and analyzes production data, maintains process documentation, troubleshoots issues with cross-functional teams, and assists with equipment installation, commissioning, and validation. Participates in safety reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. Trains production personnel on equipment operation, process improvements, and assembly best practices.
