Quality Engineer responsible for APQP and PPAP documentation, launch support, production quality investigations, corrective actions, customer and supplier quality, audits, and continuous improvement. The role works across manufacturing processes including fabrication, welding, machining, coatings, and assembly while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 and customer requirements. Responsibilities include root cause analysis, capability studies, inspection planning, quality reporting, and reducing scrap, rework, and customer complaints.

Supports the Controller with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory accounting, cost accounting, depreciation schedules, leases, reporting, audits, and process improvements. Maintains confidential personnel records and supports employees and supervisors across the organization. Requires HR experience in a manufacturing environment and proficiency with Microsoft Office, ADP, and HR/payroll systems.

Manages the full recruitment process, including developing sourcing strategies, drafting job descriptions, posting roles, screening candidates, coordinating and conducting interviews, supporting offers, ensuring employment-law compliance, and attending recruiting events. Partners with managers and HR staff to attract qualified and diverse talent. Requires strong communication, organization, negotiation, recruiting-system, and Microsoft Office skills.
