Roving Community Manager supports multiple affordable housing properties across Oregon and Washington, covering community manager vacancies and special projects. Responsibilities include supervising teams, overseeing leasing, maintenance, sales, marketing, finances, administration, resident service, compliance, reporting, budgeting, and property performance. The role requires adapting to varied communities, managing multiple priorities, and traveling frequently, potentially 60–80% of the time.

Manages day-to-day operations of HUD and tax-credit residential properties, including leasing, rent collection, resident eligibility and recertification, compliance, staff supervision, property inspections, vendor coordination, maintenance oversight, reporting, marketing, occupancy, resident retention, and complaint resolution. Ensures adherence to housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, company policies, and financial controls while supporting property value and resident services.

Leads strategic planning, operational performance, budgeting, reporting, process improvement, client relationships, and team development across a large multifamily and affordable housing property portfolio. Oversees regional performance, leasing, business growth, acquisitions and transitions, financial management, operational standards, and company-wide initiatives. Supervises 7–12 employees and travels frequently among properties in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Texas, with additional conference travel.

Assists with managing HUD, Rural Development, and tax-credit multifamily properties. Responsibilities include maintaining occupancy, marketing vacancies, processing applications and income certifications, managing resident records and waiting lists, collecting rent, handling notices and evictions, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing reports and budget recommendations, and supporting positive resident and community relations.

Processes accounting activities including financial statement preparation, general ledger and bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll, rent collections, security deposits, bank transfers, and accounting reports. Supports HUD and RD subsidy compliance, trains new accounting employees, reviews tenant activity, and processes checks and adjustments. The role requires Excel proficiency, accounting knowledge, and occasional travel for classes and conferences.
