Serves as the primary engineering liaison for a submarine reactor plant construction module. Provides technical oversight of shipyard issues, coordinates multidisciplinary engineering support, prioritizes drawing revisions and corrective actions, attends production meetings, tracks risks and holdups, supports work packages and material procurement, and communicates engineering resolutions to trades and shipyard leadership. The role also supports testing, certification events, government meetings, and construction through final assembly and delivery.

Coordinates and tracks Integrated Logistics Support products, including maintenance planning, supply support, and configuration management. Reviews technical manuals, drawings, alterations, and change documentation; assesses process improvements; manages workflow and metrics; addresses feedback; and recommends logistics solutions. The role collaborates with program offices, government agencies, engineering teams, logistics disciplines, off-site departments, and subcontractors in support of submarine life-cycle programs.

Coordinates life cycle support products and project schedules under the OMNIBUS contract for submarine programs. Manages tasking, funding, scheduling, reporting, contract compliance, and stakeholder communication with Electric Boat, NAVSEA, engineering, finance, and planning teams. Develops solutions to cross-functional issues, drives projects to completion, prepares leadership briefs, and supports ship alterations and fleet-support deliverables.

Designs and develops propulsion and non-propulsion submarine components for Virginia-class and SSN(X) programs. Responsibilities include program planning, technical specification and procedure development, vendor deliverable review, qualification and production test support, supplier oversight, and cost and schedule control. The role coordinates with engineering, naval personnel, vendors, supply chain, quality, trades, and other support teams while supporting component development and submarine construction.

Develops and integrates electrical and electronic systems for Virginia-class submarines. Responsibilities include requirements development, component and cable selection, design and drawing reviews, procurement specifications, testing documentation, technical manuals, risk management, lifecycle management, and coordination with engineering, shipyard, vendors, and NAVSEA organizations. The role also supports project schedules, budgets, configuration management, and occasional travel. Minimal software coding and engineering calculations are required.

Develops and executes system and component-level qualification tests for submarine payload launch control systems. Responsibilities include creating test procedures, scenarios, simulators, simulations, and custom test equipment; participating in environmental testing; troubleshooting system issues; and documenting test results. The role collaborates across engineering disciplines and requires the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance, with possible Top Secret requirements.

Plans and leads non-nuclear electrical testing for Columbia Class submarine steam and electric plant systems. Instructs electrical testers, troubleshoots power conversion and distribution systems, completes test documentation, supports surveillance activities, coordinates with engineering, Navy, vendors, and trades, and maintains required qualifications. The role requires strict procedural compliance, schematic interpretation, lockout/tagout execution, flexible scheduling, and work in physically demanding shipyard environments.

Supports submarine construction by working alongside operations supervision and trade groups. Reviews design disclosures, technical documents, work orders, and shipyard processes; identifies and resolves construction obstacles; improves work packages; communicates priorities; prevents production issues; and supports corrective actions and technical dispositions. The role operates in reactor compartments, engine rooms, and exterior ship areas, with occasional extended hours and weekend support.

Designs, reviews, tests, and supports installation of electrical systems for Navy submarines. Responsibilities include updating system diagrams, evaluating cableway routing, troubleshooting construction issues, writing testing and maintenance procedures, coordinating with internal customers and operations, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires extensive submarine shipbuilding or service experience and eligibility for a DOD Secret clearance.

Develops and integrates engineered ship-system components for submarine applications, including valves, compressors, hydraulic systems, atmosphere-control equipment, and fans. Responsibilities include defining technical requirements, overseeing suppliers, managing project budgets and schedules, reviewing drawings and reports, leading meetings, supporting ship integration, and solving complex technical problems. The role requires collaboration with Navy, Electric Boat, suppliers, and customers, periodic travel, and mentoring junior engineers.
