Support domestic and international corporate tax compliance and reporting, prepare and review U.S. and international tax returns and provisions (ASC 740 / IAS 12), perform technical tax calculations (GILTI, FDII, CAMT, FTC, §861), identify tax planning opportunities, assist in transaction due diligence, and improve tax processes via automation and enhanced data management.

Lead global deployment and governance of Rio Tintos D7 Functional Safety Standard across product groups. Provide strategic advisory on complex system architectures, SIL assessments, FSAs, audits, MOC reviews, training, capability building, incident investigations, and cross-discipline collaboration to ensure consistent FS lifecycle execution.

Serve as finance business partner for Metals operations: monitor cost transactions, lead month-end close, provide cost and trend analysis, support budgeting (cost models, SAP uploads, plan presentations), evaluate capital projects (≤ $10M), improve financial tools/systems, and deliver financial insights and reporting while upskilling stakeholders in cost control.
