Build and maintain research automation and program-specific infrastructure for alignment research: orchestration, automated analysis, distributed training, experiment and evaluation systems; collaborate with researchers, contribute to shared codebases, and communicate progress across the organization.

Work across research, business, recruiting, finance, and people operations to scale a fast-growing AI alignment org. Lead program strategy, research review processes, hiring, finance forecasting and compliance, people systems, events, and partnerships. Solve cross-team operational problems, build processes and automations, and support leadership (including Chief of Staff duties).

Conduct deep theoretical and empirical research on ASI alignment within a program, design and run experiments or proofs, write papers and give talks, communicate progress with the team, and use AI tools and research automation to accelerate work.
