Manage customer pricing, billing, rebates, and contract-driven formula pricing for US and Canadian accounts. Reconcile disputed items, ensure accurate invoicing, support pricing approvals and audit controls, and collaborate with sales, credit, and customer relations to resolve issues and improve pricing processes.

Responsible for accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting of health and welfare benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement). Manage accruals, journal entries, payroll integration, vendor reconciliations, SOX controls, audit support, compliance (ERISA, HIPAA, IRS), and process improvements across HRIS, payroll, and ERP systems.

Provide process engineering support for a chemical manufacturing plant: ensure process safety and compliance, lead MOC/PHAs, troubleshoot operations, design and implement process/equipment improvements, prepare AFEs and support capital projects, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with production and project engineering to meet quality, cost, and reliability goals.

Manage payroll accounting tasks including payroll disbursements, reconciliations, G/L analysis and posting to SAP, benefits and banking activities, audit support, and provide backup to payroll teams.

Lead on-site railcar repairs and coordinate third-party daily operations. Oversee supplier performance, inventories, invoicing in SAP, budgeting, and capital/maintenance planning for supply chain assets. Serve as technical liaison for rail and barge repairs, perform fixed asset reviews, support safety, FDA, and HESS programs, and maintain required credentials. Minimal travel (<5%).

Supervise day-to-day accounts payable operations including invoice intake, processing, payment support, reconciliations, vendor inquiry resolution, and third-party oversight. Lead and coach AP staff, enforce controls for T&E and PCard programs, maintain audit-ready documentation, monitor KPIs, recommend process improvements, and support SAP S/4HANA/VIM/Ariba/Concur/FileNet system enhancements.

Manage corporate insurance procurement and relationships with brokers/insurers, handle claims tendering and reimbursements, maintain Risk Management records and reporting, prepare underwriting submissions and financial responsibility documents, support contracts, audits, and special projects.

Provide electrical engineering support for plant operations and maintenance: develop testing/calibration procedures, troubleshoot and improve equipment reliability, lead incident root-cause analyses, manage electrical PM and capital projects, and support outages/turnarounds while ensuring code and safety compliance.

Support corporate engineering projects: lead front-end loading and detailed scope, develop heat/material balances, PFDs/P&IDs, datasheets and control narratives; supervise contractors; participate in PHAs, commissioning, startups and PSSR; troubleshoot plants; develop procedures, standards and training; mentor engineers; and communicate lessons learned across sites.

Lead process improvement, troubleshooting, and capital project coordination for a PVC/KOH chemical plant. Drive safety and environmental compliance, optimize production, support operations, and implement reliability and cost-reduction initiatives while providing technical documentation and cross-functional coordination.
