Develop and maintain embedded software for audio/maritime products: define requirements, design and code software, test new and legacy code, document work, collaborate with program management and customers, attend software meetings, and perform occasional travel to test facilities.

Lead and deliver small-to-medium software engineering projects: design, code, debug, test, troubleshoot, estimate work, coach junior engineers, and provide technical guidance. Support on-time, on-budget, compliant project outcomes in a defense environment; may require security clearance eligibility.

Coordinate project controls and reporting by monitoring task completion, costs versus estimates, and updating ETCs. Prepare and maintain project schedules, plans, and work breakdown structures. Liaise between engineering, manufacturing, and business functions, attend production planning meetings, and maintain contract/business system information to ensure smooth project execution.

Manage the Electrical Engineering department for maritime defense systems, leading staffing, recruitment, project execution, design reviews, process compliance, and technical oversight to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. Coach and develop engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensure a safe work environment. Travel ~10% to test sites and suppliers.

Lead configuration management activities across engineering, quality, and supply chain. Maintain PLM/ERP data integrity, manage ECR/ECP workflows and CCBs, perform PCAs/FCAs, produce government deliverables (CDRLs), manage BOM/document cross-references, lead a small CM team, and improve PLM workflows and change governance.

Design, develop, and test analog, digital, and RF circuitry for ASW receiver systems. Perform trade-offs, risk assessments, prototyping, debugging, documentation, and integration with multidisciplinary teams. Mentor junior engineers and support production, verification, and validation. Occasional travel required.
