The Business Analyst gathers and documents requirements, evaluates and improves business processes, translates business needs into technical specifications, and serves as a liaison between stakeholders and IT teams. The role supports IT solution implementation, user training, change management, documentation, feedback collection, and process enhancements. Work is conducted onsite within a law enforcement agency and may include emergency or nonstandard hours.

Provides senior leadership for IT operations, infrastructure, enterprise applications, databases, criminal justice systems, and cybersecurity. Manage financial administration of publicly funded programs and interlocal contracts: develop policies, prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, lead grant closeouts, prepare SEFA and audit documentation, supervise grant accounting staff, liaise with government representatives, and provide financial analyses and recommendations.
