Manage the accounting department and ensure GAAP compliance. Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, project accounting (billing, collections, variance analysis), AP/AR support, multi-state tax filings, audit preparation, accounting policy maintenance, and report project profitability while supervising staff.

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; perform reconciliations and variance analysis; manage internal controls and process improvements; support cost accounting and inventory valuation; lead system conversions and special projects; collaborate across departments and provide training to strengthen accounting capabilities.

Greet visitors, answer and route calls, manage incoming/outgoing mail, maintain front desk and lobby, support HR projects and new hire orientation, arrange travel and conference rooms, track office supplies, and perform general administrative duties.
