Lead mechanical engineering on EPC power generation projects, overseeing design, specification, vendor coordination, construction support, commissioning, schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Provide technical direction, review vendor submittals, prepare RFQs and estimates, conduct field walkdowns, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with codes, safety, and project standards.

Maintain and validate project cost system data, track earned value and actual costs, produce standard and ad hoc reports, perform forecasting and contract/commercial analysis. Progression through levels adds advanced analytics, scenario evaluation, team coordination, mentoring, and leadership responsibilities. Must meet procedures, deadlines, and support financial decision-making; willing to relocate to project locations across the U.S.

Manage sourcing, negotiation, award, administration, turnover, and closeout of construction subcontracts. Monitor contractor performance, process change orders/payments, lead meetings, conduct site visits, and ensure document retention and safe execution.

Lead and supervise electrical engineering teams for oil & gas and petrochemical projects. Independently perform design, studies, specifications, equipment procurement, review vendor deliverables, mentor staff, ensure QA, and provide field/construction support.

Support Senior Project Manager by planning, organizing, and controlling engineering project activities. Define scope, prepare schedules and budgets, coordinate discipline engineering deliverables, review drawings and reports, manage correspondence, ensure quality control and work-hour tracking, assist with cost estimates and overseas coordination, and communicate project status and needs to stakeholders.

Support planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and reporting for large EPC projects. Maintain schedules in Primavera P6, track costs, analyze variances, prepare reports, assess impacts, support change management, and liaise with engineering, procurement, construction, and clients to improve project performance.

Develop, maintain, and monitor integrated engineering, procurement, and construction schedules; prepare earned value and cost/schedule analyses; forecast resources and manpower; advise management on impacts and corrective actions; produce stakeholder reports and participate in risk analysis and budget forecasting.

Manage sourcing, RFP issuance and evaluation, and awarding low-to-medium complexity purchases for materials, equipment, subcontracts and services. Develop sourcing strategies, liaise with Engineering/Construction, assess technical compliance, manage supplier relationships, support post-award change orders, and assist Estimating with RFIs and indicative quotes.

Manage project cost control including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, Earned Value Management, BOQ analytics, contract commercial analysis, and supervising a cost team to support EPC project decision-making.

Perform civil/structural engineering and design tasks for power plant upgrades and new projects under senior supervision. Assist with calculations, modifications, equipment walkdowns, and design changes to improve plant performance, safety, and reliability. Work involves field and office duties, travel to client sites, and maintaining unescorted nuclear plant access.
