Design and support electrical engineering activities for power plant upgrades and new plants. Perform calculations, evaluations, modifications, and designs for electrical distribution, load flow, voltage drop, and short-circuit issues. Work on project teams, present design documents to client review boards, perform site walkdowns, and support safety, reliability, and performance improvements.

Support Project Manager by organizing technical project activities, coordinating discipline engineering and overseas HVE deliverables, preparing cost estimates and progress reports, reviewing drawings and reports for scope and quality, enforcing QC and documentation, monitoring schedules/budgets/staff performance, and occasionally defining scope and controlling small projects.

Support Senior Project Manager by planning, organizing and controlling project technical operations. Manage schedules, budgets, scope, coordinate discipline engineering and overseas offices, review deliverables, enforce QC, prepare reports, handle correspondence, and support field/site activities and progress reporting. Facilitate interface management and implement corrective actions to improve team performance.

Lead instrumentation and control engineering deliverables for projects, including DCS/PLC and CEMS data sheets, I/O lists, and process control narratives. Independently perform design work, evaluate proposals, prepare specifications and estimates, mentor staff, and support equipment purchases. Work spans office and field environments with occasional travel.

Oversee financial management for project-based work including cost accumulation, revenue recognition, billing, forecasting, variance analysis, and compliance. Produce project financial reports, support close processes, manage billing and cash collection, lead and develop project accounting staff, and drive process and system improvements to improve forecast accuracy and margins.

Performs routine planning/scheduling and cost engineering tasks using standard project controls methods. Works on small projects or portions of larger projects under general supervision, applying basic project controls principles and collaborating with staff, contractors, and officials.
