Lead corporate tax function for a publicly traded aerospace and defense company: manage ASC 740 income tax provisions and SEC reporting, federal/state/international compliance, transfer pricing, R&D incentives, FAR/CAS-related tax treatment, SOX controls, external advisors and audits, tax planning for M&A and cross-border operations, and present tax risk to executives and Audit Committee.

Support design-to-production transition by developing producible designs, creating BOMs and work instructions, designing fixtures/gages, supporting material planning, coordinating vendors, and monitoring fabrication and production processes.

Lead and scale a team of structural and dynamics analysts to deliver FEA-driven evaluations of metallic mechanisms and assemblies. Manage program support and proposals, establish standardized workflows, provide technical oversight of FEA methods, integrate CFD/aerothermal and on-prem HPC capabilities, and mentor analysts while coordinating with design, systems, manufacturing, and stakeholders.

Lead and manage an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT) to deliver projects on cost, schedule, and technical performance. Hire, mentor, and balance workload for team members; oversee budgeting, proposals, customer relationships, and business development; collaborate across teams and drive strategic initiatives to grow the company.

Develop robust, operator-executable CMM programs and measurement systems, troubleshoot CMMs, train inspection operators, apply GD&T and metrology methods, perform MSA/SPC and measurement uncertainty analysis, and drive continuous improvement in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.

Lead and manage a team of quality engineers to ensure AS9100-compliant design, development, and manufacturing of defense products. Oversee FAI, process capability, nonconformance resolution, audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement to drive product conformity and reduce defects and cost of poor quality.
