Manage daily office operations for a Tucson public accounting firm, including administrative workflows, vendor and facility coordination, HR onboarding/offboarding, basic bookkeeping in QuickBooks, invoice processing, meeting/event coordination, and providing client-facing support. Serve as primary administrative contact and assist leadership with projects, financial recordkeeping, and employee relations to maintain a professional, organized office environment.

Lead state and local tax (SALT) engagements including multi-state apportionment, nexus studies, sales and use tax, voluntary disclosures, audit defense, and tax planning. Manage client relationships, supervise and mentor staff, oversee compliance reporting across jurisdictions, and develop transaction and structuring strategies while providing technical guidance to clients and teams.

Manage multiple client relationships and deliver accurate accounting services in a fast-paced public accounting environment. Ensure GAAP compliance, review client deliverables, prepare financial reports, coordinate with tax and advisory teams, conduct client meetings, identify growth opportunities, and supervise staff accountants while supporting firm growth and process improvements.

Lead tax planning, compliance, and accounting activities; manage preparation and review of individual, fiduciary, corporate, partnership, and multistate returns; supervise and mentor staff; coordinate complex accounting projects; ensure regulatory compliance and identify tax-saving strategies while maintaining strong client relationships.

Manage and supervise attest engagements (audits, reviews, compilations), review workpapers and financial statements for compliance, mentor staff, serve as client contact, assist with planning, budgeting, and resolving accounting and audit issues.

Partner with the RVP to deploy standardized operations across portfolio firms: improve billing/collections, reduce DSO, manage WIP, coordinate FP&A/Controller support, HR/legal/tech integration, build capacity for tuck-in acquisitions, and provide firm-level KPI insights and operational accountability.

Review and validate complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Provide technical guidance, research tax issues, identify tax-saving opportunities, collaborate with engagement teams, manage timelines and deliverables, and support process improvements to ensure compliance and quality.

Provide administrative support to firm leadership and staff, format financial statements, process tax returns, manage ticketing and documents, handle client communications, and support office operations and special projects, especially during busy season.

Lead regional revenue growth through GTM execution, firm-level sales enablement, cross-sell activation, and tuck-in M&A readiness. Deploy Tech AI and Global Delivery, manage regional growth initiatives, and act as strategic partner to the RVP, driving pipeline, CRM adoption, and measurable revenue outcomes.

Assemble, review, and finalize tax return packages (federal, state, local). Organize supporting documents, prepare client deliveries (paper/electronic), assist e-filing and signature tracking, maintain document management systems, coordinate with tax team on missing items, support extension processing, and perform administrative tasks while ensuring confidentiality and firm quality standards.
