Troubleshoot and reverse-engineer data communications issues, design infrastructure for redundancy and standardization, and assist the State with firewall strategy and implementation and related security configurations.

Design, develop, test, debug, and document custom applications, reports, scripts, and forms to specification. Work with VB6, VB.NET, C#.NET, Java, XML, and ASP.NET. Requires functional knowledge of Microsoft applications, a bachelor's in IT or related, strong organization, and ability to handle multiple assignments. Local candidates and specific work authorizations required.

Lead and mentor a development team across the project lifecycle. Own architecture and technical design (J2EE/Java), propose reusable components, collaborate to diagnose and resolve complex defects, and evaluate future-oriented products and solutions.

Provide Windows and Linux system support: troubleshoot hardware/software, offer end-user support, analyze system/application/network logs, perform admin tasks (services, config updates), produce technical documentation, maintain quality controls, and assist in n-tier application development and support.
