Support AWS application migrations and modernization for scientific computing platforms. Build and manage cloud infrastructure using CloudOps, IaC, containers, and AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, Glue, EMR, and Athena. Design, automate, and operate GCP-based platforms and workflow orchestration for lab and research applications. Build ETL/data pipelines, Python and shell automation, Docker containerization, CI/CD, and Terraform modules. Integrate and support workflow/lab orchestration tools (Mendix, NAN, Nextflow), enable AI/agent workloads, and collaborate with engineers and scientists to ensure secure, reliable, and cost-optimized cloud deployments.

Build and maintain TypeScript and Node.js backend services plus secure GCP infrastructure. Own RBAC, relational schemas, BigQuery access controls, Terraform infrastructure, GitHub Actions CI/CD, Docker releases, vulnerability remediation, secrets management, observability, and incident response. Collaborate with scientific and technical stakeholders on governed data access, platform reliability, and secure delivery in a distributed remote team working on a US East Coast schedule.
