Design and lead Java/J2EE microservices architectures. Hands-on development of Spring-based web services (SOAP/REST), CI/CD pipelines, Tomcat/WebLogic deployments, JDBC/Hibernate/iBatis, performance tuning, assessments, mentoring, and client-facing consulting with regular travel.

Lead deep-dive performance analysis and tuning of Java/J2EE applications on WebSphere, including JVM, SQL/RDBMS, thread dumps, network latency, APM tools, and implementing performance processes and architecture improvements.

Design, develop, test and maintain J2EE applications in the insurance domain. Translate requirements into technical designs, produce architecture and design artifacts, perform code reviews and testing, support implementations and post-production, estimate/schedule work, coordinate with offshore/onshore teams, and support client interfacing and reporting.

Design, develop, validate, publish, and maintain logical and physical data models; evaluate existing models; manage metadata; collaborate with BAs, architects, DBAs and developers; enforce naming standards; support data governance and quality; communicate data modeling strategies to stakeholders.

Develop and test portal applications using AngularJS or ReactJS. Follow the software development lifecycle, implement HTML5/jQuery/JavaScript front-ends, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and work within a global delivery model. Apply analytical skills and team collaboration to deliver full-time solutions.

Analyze and support risk management reporting using Hyperion Essbase and PL/SQL. Build/maintain cubes/dimensions, perform data quality and warehouse analysis, use VBA for automation, and communicate findings to business and senior leadership within Financial Services (risk/compliance).
