Senior data modeler/data architect responsible for master data management, data modeling and analysis in the financial domain. Must be hands-on with SQL, communicate well, and deliver on a 6-month contract. Phone interview.

Design, develop, maintain, and deploy Informatica PowerCenter ETL mappings, workflows, and processes in Unix/Oracle 11g environments. Architect ETL solutions and data conversion strategies, extract metadata, build complex SQL, implement dimensional models, work in Agile teams, perform requirements gathering, development, and data QA, and communicate with clients and stakeholders.

Implement, administer, and tune Vertica data warehouse clusters; perform backup/recovery; execute data migrations from Oracle/Teradata; design projections/partitions; optimize database performance and support ETL and DW systems. Contract role with remote telephone/Skype interviews.

Designs and develops high-quality IBM Cognos models, reports, and dashboards; builds/maintains metadata models and dynamic cubes; performs SQL tuning, troubleshooting, ticket resolution, and deployments to UAT/production; collaborates with data modelers and IT to ensure report performance and quality.

Develop and enhance report modules by writing SQL Server stored procedures and VB.NET classes. Produce formatted Excel or text outputs using Microsoft Office COM interop. Lead design and development of web UI for the Next Generation Agent Application using .NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery. Ensure web accessibility (ARIA), mentor junior developers, coordinate offshore teams, perform unit testing, troubleshoot and optimize systems, and apply software engineering best practices including version control and release management to deliver projects on time and budget.

Design, develop, and support SQL Server databases and related ETL/BI solutions (SSIS/SSRS). Implement database source control, CI/CD with TFS/SSDT, tune performance, maintain security, and collaborate with teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Implement and configure Kronos time management systems (Workforce Central, iSeries, Stromberg) across SQL, Oracle, and AS/400 platforms. Develop configuration documentation driven by discovery and union contracts. Ensure reliable data transfer between Kronos timekeepers and in-house payroll systems. Communicate effectively with clients throughout a 6+ month engagement.

Lead multiple concurrent application projects (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall), engage technically with engineering teams, manage client priorities, and drive project results while maintaining strong customer relationships. Consulting experience and multi-year project leadership required; local candidates for phone and face-to-face engagement preferred. 6+ month engagement.

Provide Level 2 production support for SharePoint: administer and support SharePoint sites, LDAP synchronization, maintain document libraries, use basic SQL and C#/.NET for fixes, and support retail customers. Strong communication required. 12+ month contract; visa documentation mandatory.
