Senior Java developer responsible for supporting, enhancing, and troubleshooting web-based Java/J2EE e-commerce applications. Work with Struts, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL databases (DB2/MySQL). Build pixel-accurate, responsive front-end web applications from designs. Implement UI/UX, reactive two-way interfaces using frameworks (React/Angular/Backbone/Ember). Use HTML/CSS/SASS, JavaScript/jQuery, web templating, and integrate with server frameworks (Java/Tomcat, Rails, Python/Pyramid, or Microsoft MVC).

Perform healthcare data integration: read and translate source data, design mappings from source to target, extract data and write extraction processes, produce required output file formats, leverage SQL, and apply practice management system (PMS) expertise.

Develop and automate Cerner interfaces: extract data from Cerner tables/views, format into delimited or fixed‑width files, place files on client network drives, document process, and support the team during implementation with occasional onsite travel and weekly status calls.

Long-term contract Java Developer role requiring 6+ years experience building SPAs and web applications using Java/JavaScript stacks. Work includes front-end frameworks (Angular/AngularJS, Backbone/Knockout), data visualizations (D3.js/SVG), templating, testing (Jasmine), responsive design (Bootstrap, LESS/SASS), and awareness of server-side MVC and web services. Strong communication and customer-facing skills required.
