Lead credit and underwriting reviews for assigned LIHTC projects, produce investment proposals and launch memos, respond to investor inquiries, optimize bid review processes, mentor staff, and make credit decisions within authorized scope.

Lead review, troubleshoot, and maintain LIHTC Excel financial models from bid through closing and lifecycle. Coordinate tax and structuring with underwriting, fund accounting, investor relations, and external counsel. Conduct closing audits, produce stress analyses, manage post-closing changes, and adapt the organization's primary underwriting model to ensure tax and structural accuracy.

Provide legal support for fund and project transactions and compliance, including drafting and negotiating fund agreements, investor side letters, loan and warehouse documents, managing closings and outside counsel, handling transfers, KYC, HUD and local filings, and advising business teams on tax, securities, and structural matters.

Lead NEF's national LIHTC originations platform, manage regional and specialty originations teams, set origination policy and strategy, drive developer relationships, support deal structuring and execution, align with capital markets and investors, expand markets/products, represent NEF externally, and ensure operational and regulatory compliance.

Manage and coordinate due diligence, underwriting, and closing for LIHTC projects. Prepare market, operating expense, and guarantor financial analyses; update underwriting models; coordinate third-party studies; respond to investor questions; support asset management post-closing. Present investment proposals to the investment committee and track due diligence to closing.
