Manage cradle-to-grave SCADA projects including teams, timelines, meetings, and supplier relationships. Oversee implementation at multiple plants, with occasional travel to Detroit; 6-month contract.

Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems and electrical schematics for custom HVAC/dehumidification systems. Select and size components, develop ladder logic and PLC/HMI strategies (Carel, Automation Direct), create BOMs, automate electrical drawings/P&IDs, lead R&D and documentation, provide advanced troubleshooting on shop floor and field, and collaborate with production and service teams to improve reliability and scalability.

Support assembly readiness and throughput across multiple production lines. Complete assigned work packages, troubleshoot production issues, assist sustaining engineering tasks, implement minor process and tooling improvements, document progress, and coordinate with operators and engineers to maintain safe, quality-driven operations.

Lead automation projects from kickoff through delivery: manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, customer communications, RFQs, issues lists, FAT timing, and post-project lessons learned while coordinating engineers and integrators.

Serve as an HR Business Partner supporting onsite and global HR functions: payroll and leave administration, HRIS data management (UKG), employee relations, compliance (ISO/OSHA), talent acquisition, compensation, reporting, coaching, and cross-functional HR projects.

Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to plan, schedule, and execute machine design projects. Provide technical direction, approve designs, support CAD work, oversee field installations and troubleshooting, manage budgets and resource allocation, mitigate risks, and align engineering activities with business strategy while mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement and compliance with safety and industry standards.

Design, develop, program, and support electrical control systems and PLC software for automated manufacturing cells. Lead projects from specification through startup, implement advanced automation and vision-guided robotics, create disaster recovery plans, ensure safety compliance, coordinate controls integration with MES/OPC/SCADA, and travel for installations up to 40%.

Develop PCBA and PCB schematics/layout using Altium, program MCUs with J-Flash, and perform EMC, signal integrity, and UL product safety testing to prepare medical products for launch. Onsite contract in Portage, MI for 12 months; 2-4 years experience required.
