The Senior Accountant prepares and posts journal entries, reconciles balance sheet accounts, performs monthly variance analysis, supports close, budgeting, and forecasting, maintains reporting tools and dashboards (Excel/Power BI), manages large datasets, and assists with ad hoc reporting and process improvements to provide timely, accurate financial information.

Own assigned general ledger areas, prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations, support monthly and year-end close, maintain audit-ready documentation, respond to auditors, apply GAAP in a multi-entity nonprofit environment, and mentor accounting staff while improving close and reconciliation processes.
