Provide high-quality grantmaking, operational, and programmatic support for the Education Program. Manage full grant lifecycle, coordinate with Grants Management, Finance, Legal, and Communications, support meetings and events, track budgets and reports, serve as grantee contact, and assist with strategy implementation and project work.

Lead Hewlett's U.S. Democracy Program with strategic vision, oversee grantmaking and program staff, conduct a program review, build coalitions, represent the Foundation externally, recruit and develop talent, and collaborate across Foundation teams to advance democratic resilience and institutional integrity. Role requires Bay Area residency, significant leadership experience, and frequent domestic travel.

Manage a portfolio of grants to advance deeper learning and equitable public education. Shape and implement strategy, steward grantees, convene partners, commission evaluations, represent the Foundation externally, and support scalable, outcomes-driven improvement across districts, schools, and community partners.
