Provides technical leadership for engineering projects, supporting project performance across cost, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction. Develops process designs, calculations, layouts, material take-offs, specifications, drawings, and cost studies; reviews engineering and vendor documents; coordinates interdisciplinary work; checks designs for code and specification compliance; delegates technical tasks; and provides field and construction support.

Provides technical leadership for engineering projects, coordinating multidisciplinary design, client technical issues, project schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, quality control, and scope changes. Supports the Project Manager, resolves inter-discipline design issues, reviews 3D models and engineering documents, manages technical procedures, and ensures timely, high-quality project execution.

Leads complex engineering and construction projects from planning through closeout. Manages scope, budgets, schedules, quality, contracts, change control, reporting, client relationships, documentation, and multidisciplinary teams. Coordinates engineering, procurement, and construction activities; reviews deliverables and vendor submissions; supports construction and startup; tracks project financial health; and develops team performance and capabilities.

Performs routine electrical and instrumentation engineering design under supervision. Develops layouts, single-line diagrams, control drawings, cable schedules, grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans. Conducts design calculations, cost studies, material take-offs, conduit and cable tray routing, and voltage-drop and equipment-sizing calculations. Reviews vendor drawings, assists drafting teams, supports project coordination, and provides on-site startup assistance.

Performs routine process engineering designs under direct supervision, including conceptual layouts, cost studies, preliminary designs, material take-offs, design calculations, sketches, and layout problem resolution. Collaborates with multidisciplinary design teams, applies safety and engineering standards, and supports project execution. The role may require travel for site work, meetings, or training.

Designs complex electrical and instrumentation systems, including power distribution, motor controls, lighting, grounding, instrumentation, cable schedules, and equipment specifications. Performs electrical calculations, routes conduit and cable tray, develops installation documents, supports startup activities, coordinates with multidisciplinary teams, estimates project costs and schedules, and guides junior drafting personnel. Requires extensive industrial design experience, CAD proficiency, NEC knowledge, and an associate degree in engineering technology or computer-aided drafting.

Performs routine electrical and instrumentation engineering design under supervision. Develops layouts, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, control panel designs, grounding, lighting, power, and instrumentation plans. Conducts electrical calculations, cost studies, material take-offs, and preliminary designs; reviews vendor drawings and supports drafting teams. Provides startup assistance and coordinates with multidisciplinary design teams while applying NEC and CAD standards.

Manages electronic project and personnel documents, including distribution, file conversion, scanning, printing, copying, records research, client responses, activity reporting, and project manager administrative support. Operates Newforma Project Center, scanners, plotters, and office software while maintaining document control standards, accuracy, organization, and client procedures.

Designs electrical and instrumentation systems, including 2D and 3D drawings, P&IDs, schematics, layouts, and engineering documentation. Uses AutoCAD and CADWorx to develop accurate designs, incorporate engineer feedback, ensure compliance with standards, and support complex petrochemical and refining projects. Collaborates with engineers, architects, technicians, and project teams while maintaining drawing quality and document accuracy.

Develops and reviews electrical and instrumentation design drawings for industrial projects, including single-line diagrams, motor schematics, layouts, grounding and lighting plans, instrument loop sheets, control panel details, cable schedules, P&IDs, and bills of materials. Ensures designs are constructible, operable, maintainable, code-compliant, and delivered on schedule. Coordinates with engineers, lead designers, and drafters while performing electrical calculations, equipment loading, routing, drawing checks, and project audits.
