Seek an experienced electrical engineer with 10+ years in data center construction/renovation or power and cooling infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing medium-voltage distribution, telecom/fiber distribution, and UPS/generator systems. Engineering degree required; PE preferred. Position is contracted and onsite in Oak Ridge, TN, with drug testing and possible federal background investigation/access authorization.

Lead mechanical engineer for data center construction and renovation projects. Design and specify process cooling systems — chillers, cooling towers, pumps, piping, HVAC — and drive energy-efficiency solutions for power and cooling infrastructure.

Develop detailed instrumentation and controls design packages, prepare calculations, specifications, and drawings; support procurement and field implementation; perform plant walkdowns and field troubleshooting; design PLC/DCS/HMI control logic and control cabinet assemblies; ensure compliance with NEC, UL508A, and ISA standards.

Support design, analysis, procurement, and fabrication of reactor core components for HFIR PVR and HBRR projects. Develop core alignment plans, material specs, fabrication packages, and inspection/test plans. Oversee vendor fabrication, witness testing, resolve nonconformances, and ensure configuration management and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
