Assists the Community Manager with apartment property administration, leasing, marketing, resident relations, rent collection, financial records, budgets, vendor compliance, maintenance tracking, inspections, and resident services. Supports regulatory compliance, handles deposits and disputes, monitors property conditions, and may serve as acting Community Manager. Requires strong communication, customer service, computer literacy, schedule flexibility, and the ability to travel for property business.

Assists the Community Manager with apartment property administration, leasing, marketing, resident relations, rent collection, financial records, budgeting, vendor compliance, maintenance tracking, inspections, and resident services. Provides customer service, supports regulatory compliance, and may act as Community Manager when needed. Requires flexible scheduling, computer literacy, strong communication, and occasional property-related travel.

Maintains accurate property general ledger data, reconciles bank and balance sheet accounts, prepares journal entries, processes invoices and payments, monitors cash and escrow accounts, calculates fees, supports property onboarding, and researches accounting issues. Builds relationships with owners, auditors, investors, and colleagues while meeting deadlines, training junior staff, and covering the Accounting Manager’s duties when needed.

Supports accounting operations by reviewing reports, reconciling balance sheet items, interpreting business documents and processes, coordinating projects, meeting reporting deadlines, and assisting with monthly close activities. Requires knowledge of GAAP, strong organizational and communication skills, independent work ability, and proficiency in advanced Excel and Word.

Processes and reviews high-volume vendor invoices, verifies coding and approvals, resolves payment issues, supports check processing, manages invoice and check documentation, prepares positive pay files and monthly reports, assists with 1099 distribution, and communicates with vendors and internal teams.
