The Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer will lead in the design and optimization of vehicle harness and avionics enclosures for eVTOL aircraft, ensuring robust performance and regulatory compliance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams for integration and testing.

Lead and manage cross-functional engineering projects (design updates, test & release, product launches, manufacturing development). Maintain schedules and budgets using Jira/MS Project/GitLab, run Scrum/Agile and waterfall processes, coordinate task owners and leadership, present to technical and executive stakeholders, drive accountability, and embed safety and risk mitigation into program execution.

Design, implement, and deploy autonomous navigation, planning, and decision-making systems for eVTOL aerial platforms. Build real-time autonomy software for constrained embedded/Linux environments, integrate with flight controllers and sensors, run simulation (SITL/HITL) and flight tests, and collaborate across perception, GNC, flight software, and hardware teams.

Lead change control and configuration management for eVTOL aircraft: manage CR/CO/CA processes, maintain PLM baselines, synchronize BOMs with ERP, enable traceability across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, support audits and quality standards, and train stakeholders to ensure product integrity and scalable production.

Support development and testing of guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) and state estimation features. Run MIL/SIL simulations, analyze simulation and flight test data, build/maintain tools and test infrastructure (MATLAB/Simulink, Python), and document procedures and results.

Design, implement, and deploy computer vision and perception systems for autonomous aerial platforms. Work on object detection, tracking, segmentation, visual navigation, SLAM, sensor fusion, camera calibration, and deploy optimized deep learning models on embedded hardware. Develop testing, simulation, and validation frameworks and collaborate with autonomy, GNC, flight software, and hardware teams to support robust autonomous operations in GPS-denied and contested environments.

Design and implement safe, robust firmware for flight control systems. Develop sensor, control, communications, and navigation firmware; improve testing automation; debug production issues; and assist in local and remote flight testing.
