The Senior Cost Analyst manages product costing, margin analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost controls across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include analyzing cost variances, modeling costs for new products and process changes, identifying margin improvement opportunities, supporting pricing and profitability decisions, and overseeing inventory accuracy and reserves. The role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and plant leadership, supports monthly close activities, and regularly travels to manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities include analyzing material, labor, and overhead variances; supporting pricing and profitability decisions; improving inventory accuracy; partnering with operations and supply chain; supporting monthly close; and presenting insights to leadership. The role requires regular travel to manufacturing sites, advanced Excel skills, ERP experience, and strong manufacturing cost accounting expertise.

Lead end-to-end product costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation across manufacturing sites. Provide cost variance analysis, support pricing and new product cost modeling, partner with operations to drive cost reductions, ensure inventory controls, and present insights to senior leadership. Regularly travel to plants and support month-end close for manufacturing cost and COGS.
