Provide finance and grants management support for the California unit, including financial analysis, reporting, accounting, auditing, and grant compliance. Senior Director of Finance for North America leads regional financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning. Lead major gift fundraising by managing a portfolio of 80–100 donors, cultivating and soliciting gifts (including six‑figure and planned gifts), developing proposals and budgets, coordinating cross‑functional partners, meeting annual fundraising goals, supervising staff as needed, and traveling frequently to engage donors.

Manage day-to-day conservation and stewardship of the Whitney Preserve and nearby properties, lead projects and staff/contractors, implement ecological management (fire, grazing, invasive control), develop partnerships and funding, ensure compliance and budgets, and perform field work in variable conditions.
