Temporary Benefits Specialist supporting Open Enrollment for ~6 months. Respond to employees, dependents, and providers about benefits eligibility and coverage, research and resolve plan discrepancies, verify premiums and charges, use multiple HR systems (including Workday), ensure HIPAA compliance, and assist with Open Enrollment tasks and communications.

Maintain accurate records, enter criminal history rap sheets, and coordinate with law enforcement and court personnel.

Manage transportation planning projects, prepare scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical documents; coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders; ensure plans meet regulations and department goals; present at public and board meetings; conduct research and produce reports and GIS-based maps.

Assist bipartisan team in pre-tabulation processing of early ballots: follow step-by-step procedures, verify ballot and affidavit counts, document discrepancies, prepare chain-of-custody paperwork, and support other divisions as assigned. Must meet attendance, background, and voting eligibility requirements.
