Supports AMC’s email, membership, fundraising, and direct marketing programs. Responsibilities include building and deploying email campaigns, maintaining templates, managing audiences and segmentation, monitoring campaign KPIs, conducting A/B tests, coordinating workflows in Airtable, and collaborating on content, targeting, landing pages, and user experiences. The role also supports lead generation, list growth, deliverability, and campaign scheduling.

The Assistant Controller oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, audits, compliance, grant and restricted fund management, endowment accounting, and internal controls. The role supervises accounting staff, supports budgeting and forecasting, manages nonprofit and government award requirements, and leads Sage Intacct, process, and systems improvements. This primarily remote position requires periodic travel to AMC locations in Boston and New Hampshire.

Coordinates Growth Team budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, expense coding, KPIs, campaign reviews, projects, deadlines, meetings, and team events. Maintains cross-functional visibility, manages incoming work requests, improves Airtable workflows and internal processes, and supports operational excellence through organization, communication, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Lead month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities; manage complex general ledger accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting. Oversee investments, endowments, restricted funds, capital projects, fixed assets, and book distribution accounting. Support audits, Form 990 and compliance filings, improve controls and processes, provide cross‑functional accounting support and mentor less experienced staff.

Own and operationalize AMC's WordPress platform (AWS/PHP), improve performance, security, CI/CD, and integrations (Salesforce, Shopify, Click & Pledge). Architect a headless CMS future state, define content models, APIs, migration roadmap, platform governance, SLAs, and monitoring while partnering with Marketing, Data, and Salesforce teams.

Serve as AMC's senior financial leader overseeing strategy, budgeting, accounting, reporting, risk, grants, investments, and financial systems. Lead and develop the finance team, partner with CEO and Board, drive FP&A, ensure compliance and strong controls, and support long-term financial sustainability while enabling mission delivery.

The Visitors Services Specialist represents AMC to visitors, manages reservations, handles cash transactions, provides local information, and assists with center maintenance and guest services.
