The Design Engineer - Airframe designs, develops, and verifies helicopter airframe structures, ensuring safety, weight, and cost objectives are met through various analysis and testing stages.

Design and develop helicopter seating from concept to production, including structures, mechanisms, foam and covers. Perform human factors, EA system design to meet 14 CFR 27.562, run LS-DYNA and MADYMO simulations, lead prototype manufacturing, plan and conduct lab/ground/flight tests, work with suppliers, and ensure certification and customer requirements are met.

The Tooling CNC Programmer/Machinist programs and operates CNC machinery to manufacture precision tooling and components for helicopter production, interpreting engineering drawings and applying precision machining techniques.

Verify helicopter structural integrity via static stress, stiffness, stability, and fatigue analysis using hand calculations, FEA, and testing. Plan and conduct component, assembly, and flight tests, analyze data, determine loads with other engineers, ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 27, and recommend design improvements while developing tools and processes to improve quality.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will develop and optimize manufacturing processes for rotorcraft, ensure compliance with aerospace standards, provide technical support, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead a combined Manufacturing, Industrial, and Continuous Improvement function to define, document, and control production processes for aircraft and subassemblies. Develop operation sheets, work instructions, routings, and standards; drive lean improvements, value stream mapping, time studies, and capacity analysis. Partner cross-functionally to remove constraints, improve throughput, quality, and labor efficiency, and mentor engineering and continuous improvement staff.
