Design and deliver space-qualified electromechanical hardware for lunar and cislunar operations. Responsibilities include avionics enclosure and harness architecture, structural and thermal integration, grounding and bonding, flight drawing development, and custom bracket and support design. Responsibilities include defining design, analysis, and test practices; architecting mechanical and thermal platforms; developing engineering tools; managing priorities through program phases; leading designs from start to finish; and mentoring junior engineers, contractors, and interns.

Design multilayer, high-speed, mixed-signal, and power PCBs while owning the Altium component library. Develop symbols, footprints, 3D models, layout standards, stackups, constraints, and manufacturing release processes. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on design integration, DFM/DFA, prototype feedback, and fabrication packages. Create documentation and training for Altium workflows, library governance, PCB layout, and PCBA releases.

Design and develop fabrication, assembly, integration, and test processes for flight-qualified rover structures, mechanisms, and subsystems. Lead DFx, standards development, non-conformance investigations, root-cause analysis, hands-on build and test activities, work instruction creation, and cross-functional project execution. Support supplier development, quality systems, configuration management, procurement, and production planning for lunar hardware and facility development.

Design and validate electromagnetic compatibility for spacecraft avionics and electro-mechanical systems. Responsibilities include defining EMI/EMC requirements, conducting electromagnetic analyses and design trades, troubleshooting issues, operating and automating test equipment, creating technical documentation, and supporting flight hardware qualification, spacecraft integration, and risk management.

Serve as a strategic People Operations partner to managers and employees, providing coaching, employee relations support, investigations, compliance guidance, and lifecycle management. Lead performance, onboarding, organizational scaling, and workplace culture initiatives while ensuring California employment law compliance. Improve HR policies, processes, systems, reporting, and employee engagement across technical, engineering, manufacturing, and operational teams.

Lead development and execution of lunar mission operations: define ConOps, operational strategies, procedures, timelines, simulations, training, anomaly response, and real-time surface mission control to ensure safe, efficient rover missions.

Lead design, analysis, implementation, tuning, verification, and validation of robotic control systems for extra‑terrestrial rovers. Develop simulations, prototype controllers, testbeds, and supporting documentation. Integrate controllers with flight software and collaborate with avionics, integration, and test teams while mentoring junior engineers.
