Participate in a semester-long educational internship at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, applying academic knowledge and developing professional skills through practical risk management experience. Interns must complete 225 hours while working 15–20 hours weekly and receive college credit.

Leads the commercial credit and underwriting function, including loan analysis, risk assessment, approvals, SBA lending, policy development, regulatory compliance, and reporting. Maintains a personal underwriting pipeline while partnering with relationship managers and senior leadership. Manages, coaches, and develops the commercial credit team, oversees vendors, supports audits, and drives process improvements, workflow automation, technology implementation, and commercial lending efficiency.

The Commercial Lender/Relationship Manager develops and manages a portfolio of commercial loans and deposits while providing customized lending solutions and excellent member service.

Represents 7 17 Credit Union at community events, sponsorships, festivals, and outreach activities. Engages current and prospective members, promotes products and financial wellness resources, captures leads, supports brand activations, assists with event logistics and setup, maintains supplies, and tracks event results. The role requires frequent public interaction, local travel, evening and weekend availability, physical activity, and professional brand representation indoors and outdoors.

Manages the internal audit function for a credit union by developing audit plans, evaluating operational and accounting controls, conducting audits and fraud investigations, documenting findings, monitoring corrective actions, managing audit firms and examiners, and reporting to the Supervisory Audit Committee. Leads internal auditors and interns, provides employee training, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, GAAP, GAAS, and professional auditing standards.

Provides phone-based service to credit union members, handling account transactions, transfers, loan information, fraud claims, online banking assistance, stop payments, and account changes. Identifies member needs, refers or sells appropriate products, resolves issues, maintains transaction accuracy and confidentiality, and directs complex requests to the appropriate department. Requires strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and sales skills, along with proficiency in a Windows-based environment.

Provides phone-based member service for a credit union, handling account transactions, loan inquiries, fraud reports, transfers, account changes, stop payments, online banking support, and service issues. Identifies member needs and refers or sells appropriate products and services. Maintains transaction accuracy, verifies caller identity, protects confidentiality, meets productivity and sales goals, and routes complex issues for resolution.

Provides personalized member service through PTM video technology, processes financial transactions, resolves account questions, educates members on PTM use, and recommends credit union products. The role requires accurate transaction balancing, confidentiality, adherence to security procedures, and strong communication in a fast-paced centralized video environment.

Develops and applies risk metrics and methodologies, reports exposures, oversees the risk appetite framework, conducts enterprise and targeted risk assessments, mentors junior staff, manages vendor due diligence and SOC reviews, coordinates business continuity and disaster recovery, supports incident response and regulatory compliance, and prepares risk-related committee reports.

Manage and monitor an existing commercial loan portfolio by analyzing borrower financials, identifying risk, maintaining compliance and reporting (ALLL, SAC). Support underwriting for smaller loans, prepare credit memos, track financial documentation, and assist auditors/regulators.
