Lead and administer process safety and major hazard risk management across labs, pilot operations, and projects. Plan and facilitate PHAs/HAZOPs/LOPAs, review PFDs/P&IDs, advise on safety design (venting, relief, detection, fire protection), support MOC/PSSR, maintain hazard registers and safeguards, drive corrective actions, and support incident investigations and broader H&S initiatives.

Support pilot-scale process development for bioleaching and other metallurgical equipment: operate and troubleshoot pilot systems, run experiments, maintain PFDs/P&IDs and procedures, analyze data for process improvements, collaborate with software/ML teams on monitoring, and uphold EHS and risk-management practices.

Lead design, integration, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of pilot-scale mechanical systems for mineral processing. Collaborate with process engineers and vendors, develop mechanical documentation and CAD models, improve equipment reliability, and support safe plant operations.

Lead mechanical engineering for mineral processing and metallurgical refining projects: design, specify, and validate static equipment and solids-handling systems; perform FEA and CFD analyses; develop plant layouts and 3D models; manage vendors through procurement, fabrication, and commissioning; and provide on-site construction and start-up support while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
