Own the product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and production readiness for Mariana Minerals’ ML platform, simulators, perception systems, and industrial robotics initiatives. Translate operator and engineering needs into specifications, KPIs, and shippable work; align stakeholders across applied AI/ML, software engineering, and plant operations; and define trusted deployment standards for models, simulators, and robots supporting autonomous chemical and industrial processes.

Lead Mariana Minerals’ finance organization across FP&A, accounting, controllership, treasury, audit, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial systems. Partner with executives, project leaders, investors, and the board on capital allocation, financial modeling, and growth planning. Strengthen internal controls, technical accounting, and finance infrastructure while scaling the team and supporting future fundraising and public-company readiness.

Designs and executes hydrometallurgical experiments at laboratory and pilot scale. Operates reactors, filtration, separation, and purification equipment; monitors process parameters; prepares reagents; collects and analyzes data; and optimizes extraction through DOE and statistical methods. The role also produces reports and visualizations, maintains laboratory documentation, troubleshoots and calibrates equipment, conducts hazard assessments, and follows chemical safety, PPE, MSHA, and OSHA protocols.

Lead controls and instrumentation engineering for novel mineral refining facilities from concept through commissioning, ramp, and handover. Manage equipment providers, licensors, engineering firms, and cross-functional technical teams. Oversee instrument, valve, analyzer, network, and control-system selection and installation; support industrial machine-learning optimization and workflow automation. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to medium-to-large capital project execution, plant-network security, and development of the internal engineering team.

Own end-to-end delivery of capital programs from development through construction and operational handover. Manage scope, integrated schedules, budgets, risks, engineering interfaces, procurement, contractors, reporting, readiness gates, commissioning, and startup. Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, drive decisions to closure, support standardized program execution, and provide feedback to improve Mariana’s Capital Project OS.

Build and deploy full-stack software supporting engineering, construction, and operation of mineral processing facilities. Develop Autodesk integrations, internal web applications, software ecosystem evaluations, and LLM-powered experiences. Collaborate with ML engineers on data architecture and pipelines supporting model training and facility operations visibility. Partner directly with engineering, construction, operations, and other non-software stakeholders to identify needs, scope features, and drive implementation across the technology stack.

Provides administrative and executive support to the CFO and Executive Assistant, including calendar management, meeting coordination, domestic and international travel booking, expense reporting, receipt reconciliation, and budget tracking. Supports office operations, supplies, deliveries, facilities requests, visitor management, meetings, events, and off-sites. Handles confidential information, competing priorities, special projects, and ad hoc requests in a fast-paced Houston office environment.
