Edit and assemble video content for daily newscasts and special segments, collaborating with producers, reporters, anchors, and photographers to produce timely, accurate, and visually compelling stories while maintaining editorial and technical standards under tight deadlines.

Researches, reports, writes, shoots, edits, and presents breaking news and enterprise stories across broadcast, web, and social platforms. Conducts interviews, builds sources, pitches local story ideas, performs live shots, and meets editorial deadlines. Requires flexible scheduling, local field travel, operation of ENG equipment, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds.

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot RF transmission systems for FM and TV stations; perform routine and emergency repairs on solid-state transmitters (Gates, Nautel); monitor performance and FCC compliance; maintain logs and documentation; assist with upgrades and coordinate with operations; participate in on-call rotation and travel to transmitter sites.

Lead editorial vision and strategy for newscasts, manage news production from planning to on-air delivery, supervise and develop producers and production staff, ensure journalistic standards and quality control, and coordinate across reporting, technical, and creative teams.

Maintain and troubleshoot computers, servers, networking/IP and broadcast systems to ensure reliable live and recorded broadcasts. Provide user support, perform preventative maintenance, install equipment, assist during breaking news or upgrades, document technical changes, and support station engineering projects and initiatives.
