The Regional Head of Operations oversees operational activities, compliance, vendor management, and business continuity to support regional business objectives.

Build, enhance, and maintain reporting tools, data pipelines, and analytics supporting U.S. Life valuation and economic value reporting (US Statutory, US GAAP, IFRS, Solvency II). Partner with business leaders, support senior management requests, provide model and process improvements, assist group reporting and audits, and deliver analytic insights for trends, risks, and capital modeling runs.

Support quarterly analytics and landing under IFRS 17 and US STAT, prepare presentations for auditors and Board, maintain statutory pro formas, assist solvency planning and stress testing, research technical accounting issues, and support ad hoc finance requests across jurisdictions.

Lead North America Alternative Solutions reinsurance: originate, price and negotiate non-traditional deals; manage and develop regional underwriting team; optimize and renew portfolio; drive business development, client and broker relationships; ensure operational, reporting and compliance excellence; explore new market opportunities.

Analyze mortality, persistency, and related experience using internal and client data to develop best-estimate assumptions, maintain data and study accuracy, build/modify analytical models, create study extracts, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Participate in actuarial rotations and support other actuarial functions.

Validate, calibrate, and project experience to recommend actions for optimizing underperforming reinsurance treaties. Review treaty terms and pricing, perform premium validations, update inforce models, analyze courses of action, report actuarial risks, support ad hoc requests, and communicate progress to senior management. Participate in the Actuarial Student Rotation program and help implement departmental processes and controls.

Support life reinsurance pricing by developing assumptions (mortality, persistency, sales mix), building actuarial models, running sensitivities, documenting rationale, performing peer reviews, and coordinating deal hand-offs. Ensure compliance with SCOR pricing guidelines, drive continuous improvement, and act as a subject-matter expert for assigned pricing areas.

The Manager, US L&H Finance leads internal controls best practices, documentation, risk assessment, and reporting within the finance team while collaborating with audit and operational teams.

Lead translation of underwriting intent into rule specifications for underwriting engines; coordinate client implementations and onboarding; collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to refine requirements, document meetings and processes, and drive automation and continuous improvement in underwriting solutions.

Lead technical delivery for a high-volume insurance underwriting platform, influencing design decisions and mentoring engineers while ensuring high standards in implementation and quality.
