Lead and scale Outpost's full software function, owning strategy, architecture, and execution across flight software, ground systems, and infrastructure. Build a high-performing engineering organization, establish best practices and release processes, partner with avionics and GN&C, and report metrics to executive leadership to ensure reliable system delivery.

Design, implement, and test end-to-end guidance, navigation, and control systems for return-from-orbit vehicles. Develop estimation (EKF/UKF) and control algorithms, build high-fidelity 6-DOF simulations, specify hardware, integrate flight software, support HIL and flight test campaigns, and iterate designs from flight data to achieve precise, robust entry and landing performance.

Lead vehicle engineering for Carryall and Airdrop, owning architecture, schedule, budget, and production readiness. Hire and develop engineering leaders, enforce design standards and flight readiness, manage make/buy and supplier strategy, and represent vehicle engineering to executives, customers, and government stakeholders.

Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and President, including calendar and inbox management, travel booking, briefing materials, meeting logistics, document editing, expense reporting, reception support, and handling sensitive information. Anticipate needs, track follow-ups, and be available outside standard hours for urgent tasks.

The Mechanical Engineer will design, test, and qualify spacecraft components, owning the hardware lifecycle from concept through testing and analysis.

Own full-cycle recruiting for technical hardware and software roles: sourcing, screening, structured interviews, offers, and pre-onboarding. Partner with engineering and operations to forecast headcount, build pipelines, maintain ATS processes, ensure export-control compliance, calibrate compensation, and track hiring metrics. Support non-technical hires and campus/event outreach as needed.
