WYMT-TV seeks a multimedia journalist/news anchor to report, shoot, edit video, and post web stories/photos/videos. Candidate must have strong editorial, journalistic, and communication skills and work from both field and newsroom.

Paid 10-week, 25-hours/week immersive media training program where interns perform real producer, MMJ, weather, or sales work, create digital content for broadcast and social platforms, collaborate with experienced staff, build a professional portfolio, and compete for full-time roles across Gray Media stations.

Produce and update newscasts and digital content: write for web and broadcast, edit video, create graphics and lower thirds, collaborate with anchors, directors and digital team, and respond to breaking news and extreme weather coverage.

Develop and sell multimedia marketing solutions across WSMV-TV, Gray Digital Media, and Telemundo Tennessee. Build and strengthen client relationships, present multi-screen campaigns, adapt to new products and technology, provide negotiation and forecast updates, meet daily deadlines, and collaborate with internal teams.

Produce and anchor news stories for linear and streaming platforms as a multi-skilled MMJ: generate ideas, cultivate sources, shoot/edit segments, report live, maintain social media, and create streaming content.

Edit news video for broadcast and digital platforms using non-linear editing systems. Receive instructions from producers/talent, edit ENG material, upload/download to partner platforms, and coordinate with newsroom staff. Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Produce and anchor live digital coverage for streaming, website, and social media; create short- and long-form video and multimedia assets; update website and linear TV as needed; collaborate with reporters and newsroom on digital strategies; ensure accurate, timely content and maintain the station voice across platforms.

Anchor weekend morning newscasts and report three days weekly as a Multimedia Journalist. Produce broadcast-quality packages, shoot and edit video, create vertical assets for social/streaming, deliver live streaming updates, and collaborate with producers to shape editorial content for morning newscasts and connected TV platforms.

Provide administrative and campaign support to the sales team: enter and maintain orders, create advertiser support documents, communicate with internal teams and clients, and help manage multiple projects to maintain strong customer relationships.

Direct live and pre-recorded productions, monitor on‑air streams, transmitter and FCC logs, ingest and segment programming/commercials, operate broadcast production and master control systems, collaborate with departments, train staff, and maintain studio equipment on a variable schedule.
