Supports Federal Government and Intelligence Community IT programs by eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, tracking, and reporting technical and operational requirements. Develop and sustain Java-based software for large-scale distributed computing environments supporting the Intelligence Community. Responsibilities include full Agile lifecycle participation, software integration and testing, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code deployments, containerized microservices development, Linux operations, troubleshooting, performance optimization, on-call support, and mentoring junior developers. The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.

Administer and maintain cloud-based Linux infrastructure and distributed platform services supporting data-intensive analytics. Provide Tier 1–3 support, troubleshoot systems and networking, manage Red Hat/CentOS provisioning, DNS, containers, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and HDFS, and develop automation scripts. Monitor platform health, perform incident response and root cause analysis, document procedures, and collaborate with technical teams while providing scheduled evening or mid-shift operational coverage.

Develop, integrate, test, maintain, and enhance mission-critical cloud software in a highly secure environment. Analyze requirements, troubleshoot defects and integration issues, evaluate performance, document technical work, and collaborate with software, systems, and test engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Support cloud-based development and deployment activities while meeting complex customer and mission requirements.

Maintain, optimize, and build Power Platform solutions and SharePoint integrations (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Manage environments, data gateways, permissions, governance, and security. Develop automation, gather requirements from stakeholders, provide user support/training, and work with IT security to ensure information assurance and continuous improvement in a high-security environment.

This role requires a Cloud System Administrator to maintain cloud environments, support daily operations, implement security best practices, and coordinate with cybersecurity and engineering teams.
