The role requires network security expertise, familiarity with DoD and DISA policies, eMASS and DMZ whitelist processes, technical writing, automation, and an active Secret clearance while working primarily onsite at Fort Meade.

Designs, implements, integrates, and optimizes secure networking and cybersecurity solutions for DoD SIPRNet modernization. Leads SD-WAN, CSfC, secure mobility, identity, infrastructure modernization, architecture development, migration, troubleshooting, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and risk management. Collaborates with technical teams, stakeholders, and program leadership while evaluating network performance, security posture, scalability, resiliency, and emerging technologies. The role requires current DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, relevant certifications, and up to 25% travel.

Provides onsite operational, engineering, and sustainment support for enterprise and tactical DoD network infrastructures. Responsibilities include configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, and monitoring routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and automation frameworks; resolving incidents; implementing cybersecurity controls; maintaining documentation and compliance with DoD, RMF, and Army standards; and collaborating with government, vendors, and engineering teams. The role also mentors junior personnel and supports mission continuity in classified and unclassified environments.

Lead design, implementation, administration, and support of enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN infrastructure across CONUS medical facilities. Act as technical SME and escalation point, resolve complex routing/switching and security issues, monitor performance with SolarWinds/Armis/Ansible, develop standards and documentation, coordinate with government stakeholders and vendors, lead engineering teams, and ensure compliance with government policies and security requirements.
