Processes high-volume legal documents, court orders, garnishments, subpoenas, bankruptcy notices, escheatment requests, and related banking matters. Reviews legal and regulatory requirements, researches account information, processes holds and releases, coordinates payments, communicates with courts and government agencies, maintains audit records, escalates complex issues, and supports compliance and workflow improvements.

Performs bank compliance operations, including complaint analysis, reporting, committee support, compliance software use, training development, risk assessments, policy maintenance, audit preparation, and business-unit collaboration. Manages commercial loan portfolios from application review and risk analysis through approval, closing, monitoring, and collections. Interviews applicants, evaluates financial data, makes lending decisions within authorized limits, prepares loan packages for committees, maintains customer relationships, conducts private banking, develops new business, and monitors an active pipeline. The role also requires follow-up on customer financials, collection of past-due accounts, networking, and effective teamwork.

Administers the audit quality assurance and improvement program by updating methodologies, manuals, and procedures; aligning workflows with professional auditing standards; conducting self-assessments; reviewing audit files for workpaper sufficiency and IIA Standards compliance; identifying execution and documentation gaps; and reporting QAIP metrics and trends to senior management.

Prepares financial statement and tax return spreads, monitors loan credit risk, underwrites consumer and small commercial loans, evaluates repayment capacity and financial ratios, researches borrower industries and markets, identifies policy exceptions and repayment risks, orders residential appraisals, and documents credit assessments while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Provides administrative support for a mortgage office, including calendar management, meeting and travel coordination, invoice review, reporting, inventory and supply orders, phone coverage, filing, events, errands, and light loan processing. Assists loan officers with loan file completion and other duties. Requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, computer proficiency, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
